I move to SF and this is what happens: iPhone pictures of me at a brunch, drinking coffee out of something that isn't a ceramic mug, eating "polenta" (a.k.a. grits), and then having Leslie email me the photo from the restaurant.

Ah, well, happy birthday, Clare.

Party-time

This quiet little scene was visible through a window at the Design Center of Austin in the middle of a crazy Austinist party there (during SXSW, I think). Funny where you'll find oddball stuff like this.

Midnight rider

Willie Nelson was the reason we were at the rodeo a couple years ago. Had to make sure I saw him play at least once. Now it's my goal to see him in a smaller venue. His exit, pictured here, was classic.

At least I don't have it as bad as this guy.

It's been a long time...

...since I uploaded any Visitor's photos. Found a bunch form a show 23 months ago that I've been meaning to edit for ... 23 months. The whole night is chronicled here.

My Canon's in the shop for the next few weeks, and I haven't been shooting much out here anyways, so I'm going to take this opportunity to go through gigs of old photos that never got edited.

Jewelry set updated

The word from Austin is that Amanda's stuff went over well tonight at the opening. The set is also coming together on Flickr, and I was looking for an excuse to post this photo, so here you go.

Amanda gets entrepreneurial

Amanda's jewelry line, pistols & rubies, is now online. It'll be making its debut at the new First Samples boutique in Austin, which is also opening just this weekend. More pictures to come on Flickr, but these were the first two we got up.

Many thanks to Chad for helping out today with the web stuff. He's posting new music on Spherical again finally. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, start with the lost classic of our generation "Government Girl" and work back.

From Danny's photos of Mike & Shane's wedding. I have the shots of the service itself. Need to get those up.
